Why Pastors and Police Officer Study for Free in My School?

Why Pastors and Police Officer Study for Free in My School? First, I have a few family members and friends that are good and honorable police officers; people that literally risk their lives to protect us every day! They are daily heroes indeed!

Secondly, what can I say about Pastors? They are out there protecting us in a different way; they deal with our spiritual walk. Both of these professions receive a lot of negativism every time one of them mess-up. Nevertheless, I am convinced that the majority of Police Officers and Pastors are decent people who care deeply about others.

I know that there are other honorable professions out there; my future wife, for example, is a Doctor. However, I feel that Police Officers and the average Pastor are underpaid if we compare what they are call to do and risk. So this is my way of giving back and showing my appreciation for them.

The other day I had a ticket for speeding and almost changed my mind about doing this for Police Officers (LOL) but, you want to know the truth? I was wrong; I was driving way too fast in the Country Roads of Gates County. The Officer simply did his job. So Officer, I don’t know your name; all I know is that you are Afro-American. If you are out there, I want you to know that you are also welcome in my school.  God bless you all!

  1. I respect you integrity and think its essential for someone in your position to maintain that honesty. Thank you for being transparent in your walk with Christ.
