Jesus requires to be not only our Savior, but also our Lord. In order for Christ to be our Lord we must do God’s will.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21) NIV

Is to take that left when we want to take that right…just because God says so. It is moving away, when we want to stay…just because God says so. Is closing our lips when we want to let them have it…just because God says so. It is walking away when we want to fight…just because God says so. Is to fight when we are afraid to so…just because God says so. Is to give when we are broke…just because God says so. Is to stay when we really want to go…just because God says so. You get the picture? Isaiah 55:8 tells us:

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.” (NIV)
