"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" 1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
Dealing With Death: 70 Virgins, Purgatory, Rosaries and TRUTH
Dealing with the death of a loved one is something that we will all have to deal with sooner or later. I am just going straight to the point. There are only two possible destinations after death, heaven or hell. You will be judged immediately in terms of where you are going to spend eternity. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27,
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment…” (KJV)
After death, there are no 70 virgins waiting for you, that is a lie from hell. Also no prayer ritual invented by men can move you to a place that does not even exit. Purgatory is not real!
All of my six children, my wife, and I have experienced the loss of a loved one. We all suffered and perhaps, some continue to do so today. But we suffer with hope; that hope is found in the faith that we have that our loved ones died believing Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We are so glad that we will see Ileana again, Ileana stood by her faith until the end, even after she was challenged to pray to Virgin Mary, a practice that we Protestants recognize as heresy, Ileana stood strong and died loving Jesus. We know we will see Marcus again, he died preaching the Gospel with power and commitment and we will see Mrs. Dottie again, a powerhouse of faith and conviction.
Please, read your Bible and measure everything by the Word, not by the foolish opinion of a false teacher. Don’t take your own soul lightly, be sure that what you know is true.
