There are thousands of martial arts schools in the United States. Here in Fairbanks, a city of over 90,000 people, we have around 10 schools. So why start another Martial Arts school? Why Casiano’s Martial Arts?
No doubt that this business is a way for me to make a living. I have six children; two currently in college. So I want to make money; plenty of it, so that I can provide a decent living for my family. However, the reason for Casiano’s Martial Arts’ existence goes beyond making money.
I desire to make a difference in this community by offering a martial arts program that goes beyond kicking and punching. I desire a martial arts program where my students can truly exercise their bodies, their minds, and their spirits. I want my students to go beyond just learning how to fight. They must learn something far more useful; how to defend themselves and others. I want my students to learn not only practical self-defense, but self-defense that does not require throwing a punch or a kick; and they can achieve this by avoiding certain places, certain situations, certain behaviors and yes, certain people.
At CMA, we are interested not only in our student’s physical ability to throw punches and kicks, but we care even more about how they are doing at home. We want to know that our students respect and honor their parents. Students are expected to do well in school with good grades and good behavior. We want to positively affect the way our students carry themselves in their daily walk. We want to impart strong values of commitment, honor, loyalty and hard work. We want to be fountains of encouragement for excellence and success. We want our students to have a vision for their life, to establish goals, and to exercise a passion to improve their own communities.
Furthermore, we present God and our Lord Jesus Christ as the way of life. Our moral teachings are not the traditional martial arts oriental teachings, but the teachings and lessons found in God’s Word. Nevertheless, we will not reject anyone just because they are not Christians. Everyone is welcome.
We want the youth, we want the troubled, the children, the broken, and the adults that have always dreamt about learning martial arts; and we want you. Whatever your experience is, your motivation or abilities; you will always find something in our program that you will be able to carry for the rest of your life.
When we started our program in Jacksonville, Florida and later in Gates County, North Carolina; I saw how grateful many of the parents were as they told me how this program helped their children in school and in their physical conditioning. I remember how all of the mothers in my program got together and asked me to open a summer camp as they would rather pay me than anybody else to care for their children. I will always remember that!
We started our program in Jacksonville, Florida. We expanded the program to North Carolina. Now, we are proud and excited to be a part of the family of the golden city of Fairbanks, Alaska. Come and experience the Power!
Where: JP Jones Community Development Center
Address: 2400 Rickert St, Fairbanks, AK 99701
When: We are set to start in August; registration dates will be announced.

I see a spiritual laziness that I have never seen before; a lack of Godly leadership, I sense a lack of passion, no interest, I see a sense of conformity, a satisfaction, a compliance with the establishment that is sickening indeed. We have found our way out that releases us from any accountability or responsibility.
We blame the devil for everything. It is all the devil’s fault. Any problem, any challenge or any uncomfortable emotion is the devil’s fault. We don’t take responsibility for anything; we don’t speak about the need for repentance, we don’t seek God’s wisdom to resolve anything, we just place everything in the box of the devil’s fault.
People get mad, frustrated, angry and comfortable with an attitude of un-forgiveness. God’s people are choking with roots of bitterness. Bitterness is paralyzing growth and burning the possibility of any development of fruit.
We casually say things such as, “God will take care of me.” But we teach half-truths as we omit good stewardship; it is all about rejecting personal responsibility and blaming the devil for everything. We teach a grace that rejects truths. We teach forgiveness of sins without the need for repentance.
I burn the box of the devil’s fault in Jesus name and I say let conviction arise and let us prepare the way of the Lord. Let us be ready for the judgment of God that will start with us and in us. Let us prepare our hearts; let us get ready for the release of His Shekinah Glory that will manifest as the end-time harvest. Oh, may us become a bride without wrinkles and may us be ready for the coming of the Lord.
I am expecting great and mighty things from the Lord. I believe with all my heart that our only hope is revival. We must be revive. Our challenge is to love each other and to trust God even in our darkest hour.
I am in a battle; what’s new! I have friends that I want to see totally restored and I pray my eyes be able to see that amazing day coming. I have some who don’t like me, who don’t understand the passion that burns in my heart; I have others that are there for me, in the good, the bad and the ugly.
I pray the Lord forms in me the humility that I lack to fight a new kind of fight for the sake of my friends, brothers, sister, family and for the glory of my God.
The fight that I am engaging in for the next six months is worth fighting and I expect victory because it is not my battle, but the Lord’s. I will follow HIS guidance and I will trust my GOD, no matter what my eyes can or cannot see. Love never fails!
I don’t need your money; I only need your prayers!
Brother Angel Casiano
When I read the Word and when I read about revival, I ask myself, how can we be satisfy with our current condition? The preacher yells, sweat and make a few popular statements and they call that revival. I am personally tired of the manipulations. I am disgusted with preachers trying to work out the anointing. Oh God send your fire, the conviction of sin, the tears, the brokenness and the profound desire to change. Send your glory Lord!
If after the great flood, God gave us the rainbow, why should I stop dreaming?
If after David’s adultery and murders he was still called by God a man after God’s own heart, why should I stop dreaming?
Solomon worshipped other God’s, however God still kept him as an anointed king, gave him more prosperity and wisdom than any other man in the history of humanity and allowed him to write books in the Bible. Why should I stop dreaming?
Did God give up on the stubborn nation of Israel Israel? Still today the Covenant of Abraham stands. Why should I stop dreaming?
The Samaritan woman was a failure in her relationships with men. She had more divorces than Elizabeth Taylor and was fornicating at the time of her encounter with Christ, but God still used her to evangelize a city. Why should I stop dreaming?
Peter denied Jesus three times, however he was used by God to release into existence the foundational revelation of the church. Why then, should I stop dreaming?
Should I keep going? A man in first Corinthians had sex with his father’s wife; it caused him to be kicked out of the church. However, by second Corinthians he repented. It was then that the same Apostle who ordered his dismissal from the Body ordered that this man be restored. Why should I stop dreaming?
Beloved, that is the key; no matter what you done, repentance is the key to your reconciliation. I am not talking about playing with God’s grace; I am not talking about doing the same thing over and over. I am talking about true repentance.
Now, I am aware that sin will always bring forth consequences and we must face them. However, we must understand that at the heart of the divine calling of all God’s people, is a relentless desire that flows from the heart of the Father, for reconciliation. First Corinthians 5:16 tells us,
16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. (NKJV)
See, this is our problem exactly; we continue to see people according to their flesh and not according to the Spirit. That is the reason why after people experience a public fall, they are never restored, that is because people chose to see them in the flesh; their fall becomes their final assessment on that person’s character. Never mind that we have all fallen in our secret places; but because our falls have not become public we can still wear the mask of hypocrisy. In the name of avoiding stigmas we refuse to reconcile with some for the fear of what others will say. But isn’t the Bible our ultimate authority? In First Corinthians 5:18-19 the Apostle Paul continues by saying,
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. (NKJV)
You may say, the Apostle is talking about sinner, not about people whom are already Christians. Meaning, that in the view of many, once you are a Christian, you no longer qualify for reconciliation. However, all of the individual examples I gave you in the beginning of this article, with the exception for the Samaritan woman, are from Godly men who committed some awful sins. Galatians 6:1 gives us the closing zeal to the point of this article by saying,
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. (NKJV)
See, you have to be spiritual to even qualify for the ministry of reconciliation. Carnal, judgmental, Pharisee-like Christians are unable to restore anybody. You want more evidence of someone Holy Ghost Baptism; look at their God-giving power to reconcile others.
Beloved, it is time to get Biblical. Why should I stop dreaming for wanting a brother or a sister’s reconciliation and restoration in the Body? I will continue to dream no matter what denominational bylaws stipulate, no matter the stigmas, no matter if you are a Bishop, an Apostle, a Doctor or whatever title you want to give yourself. I will continue my biblical dream for reconciliation.
I want to finish with this; the reason I won’t stop dreaming is because others did not stop dreaming for me after my public fall. So, for you who, after repenting, are still being treated as second-class citizens in the very churches that speak about unconditional love, I want you to know that I will never stop dreaming for you.
Why do we have so many people in churches that, after years and years of membership, know so little about the Word? It is understandable that babes in Chris need to be taught and discipled, but seasoned Christians should know. There are more examples, but let me start with these seven;
1. Church gatherings are becoming more business-like meetings: All about money, fundraising, the building and what people can get.
2. A focus on “Sermons” that are a combination of Christian psychology, secular psychology, and foolishness to justify behaviors. God’s Word is manipulated and twisted to serve an agenda.
3. The exaltation of man’s opinion: We are back to the days of Constantine, where the opinion of prestige men was of the same importance and, in cases, more important than God’s Word.
4. Compromising and surrendering to political correctness: In other words, you have folks that are so concerned about the world’s validation that they are willing to deny Christ truth.
5. Lack of bold leadership: Many are just cowards. They carry these titles, but no substance, no wisdom and no courage. They are afraid of leading and in the name of, “Let’s pray about it.” They refuse to do what God’s Word already instructs us to do. Prayer here is not with the purpose of guidance and strength, but with the purpose of delaying and avoiding what needs to be done.
6. Lack of Passion for the Development of a Relationship With Christ: These people do not have a prayer life and do not study God’s Word.
7. Unbiblical Church Governments: The Church has only three governmental positions:
- Deacons: Servants; called to set the tables. They take care of the practical duties of the church.
- Elders: These are a group of men that lead the local church.
- Apostles: These are assigned to regions. They are the highest position in the government of the church.
Out of these three positions the gifts flow; so you can be an elder, but have the gift of administration. You can be an elder, but operate as an evangelist or pastor, etc. So when you call for a church leadership meeting you are calling Deacons and Elders; not staff, or co-pastor, assistant pastor, trustee, etc. These are man-made positions.
Why the ignorance? I hope that this small article helped you to address this question and encourage you to grow in the Lord.
These are indeed sad days; the days where political agendas are more valuable than truth. Days where opinions of men are recognized with greater authority than God’s Word. Days where your judgment depends on the political party and/or sex preference of the ones in question. We don’t realize that every time we deny the truth we are indeed, like Peter, denying Jesus. For Jesus tells us in John 14:6,
“… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”(John 14:6 KJV)
Speak up and let the wind hear you. Speak up and let the rivers and the seas pay attention. Speak up and let the sky witness your words. Speak up when truth is in your side, speak up when your heart is anointed with love. Speak up without fear and echo the wisdom of our Father. Speak up the Words of our Lord. For the faith that terrorizes the devil comes by hearing. Speak up and be courageous. Don’t let the world silent you; don’t let man-made religion intimidate you with their worldly qualifications. Speak up louder than the arrogant philosophers, enemies of the cross. Speak up for the sake of one soul, speak up!
