The Corrupt Media of the United States of America

Hillary is now on the hot seat as the FBI decided to reopen her investigation over some new findings; last week and the week before it was Trump on that same hot set. Politics today is no longer about ideas, hardcore policies, etc. it is all about exposing and bringing out dirt.

All these October surprises are evidence of a corrupt press; they are manipulating information for the sake of ratings and for the sake of supporting their own candidates. I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of any objective news network in America. We want to talk about Hillary Clinton’s corruption and Trump lies, what about the media corruption? The press is trying to manipulate our minds, telling us how and what to think. Laws need to be change or, if laws are already in the books they need to be reinforce. This obvious bias MUST go!

This media bias is what is indeed killing this nation because they have become instruments of lies. Fox, for example likes to use the slogan, “We report, you decide”, but that can’t be further from the truth when in the mix of their news they have Sean Hannity and Megyn Kelly advancing their personal agendas. CNN slogan is “The most trusted name in news.” Are you serious? Who believes that?

I encourage you to look at Hillary and Trump, look at their history, their record, what they said then and what they are saying now. Make a decision base on your own intelligent conclusions, not base on what your mother or grandmother say and most of all, not base on what the corrupt media of the United States is saying.

Be Aware of Your Surroundings

I used to be a martial arts instructor. When I first started getting involved in Martial Arts it was all about boxing, kickboxing and stand up fighting in general. As I got older and more aware of statistics that reflected the violence in our society, my interest in practical self-defense increased. I wanted to know what to do in any possible realistic scenario. Today, the concept of being aware of our surroundings expanded a little more for me.

There are many things we can do to protect ourselves without ever having to throw a kick or a punch. You probably have heard police officers; martial arts instructors and others speak about the importance of being aware of our surroundings. This is probably the number one and more effective self-defense technique of all.

As a society, we have become more distracted and more focus on ourselves. It is common to see somebody on a red light checking their phones, go online, check social media, texting and so on. Some times we get so into whatever we are doing with our phones, that unless somebody blows the horn we do not even realize the stoplight is now green.

That kind of distraction does not only make us vulnerable to surprise attacks, but also placed us in a situation where we are unaware of what is going on around us. We can’t see that four-year-old walking by himself on the side of the road because we are too busy checking how many likes we got on our latest Instagram photo, our latest Facebook post or Twitter. So we can’t see the woman who is obviously in distress in need of a God bless you, a smile or somebody who genuinely show that they care. In our own homes we can’t see the kitchen that needs to be clean, we can’t see the husbands and wives struggling with some issues; we can’t see that our children are standing in need of attention and correction; that the living room needs to be organize, that the trash in the bathroom needs to be pick up and the list goes on and on.

We have become a bunch of distracted and selfish people who can careless about what is going on in our surroundings. Our lives are focus on me, myself and I. Galatians 6:2 tells us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (NIV) The word carry is the Greek word bastázō; meaning, “To take up and hold, to bear.[1] To carry each other’s burden is more than a once a year good deed; we are called to carry that burden and hold it until that person is ready to carry that burden herself.

Romans 15:1 tells us, “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.” (NIV) The word please here is the Greek word arésō, meaning “To fit, to adapt, to make one inclined to and to be content with.”[2] In other words, when our focus is on pleasing ourselves we arraigned our schedule around what is a good fit for us, what is adaptable to our routine and what makes us happy. That is the illustration of selfishness. Selfishness and Christianity do not go together.

You want to know the key to prosperity? Proverbs 11:25 tells us, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” (NIV) We have got to get into the habit of walking around, not as spoil selfish children, but as walking blessings. Hebrews 13:16 tells us, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” (NIV) This is the kind of lifestyle that blesses the Lord; when we sacrifice for others.

The heart of the law is love; love God, love others and love yourself. Love is charity… love is doing good. We, as Christians are called to love everybody; even our enemies. Luke 6:27 tells us, “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,” (NIV) Notice that on the first part of this verse Jesus tells us to love our enemies; on the second part he tells is how, “…do good to those who hate you.”

The reason many of us are not walking or even attempting to walk this essential mandate of Christianity, is because we are not aware of our surroundings. By focusing exclusively on ourselves we violate Christ law; sadly our burdens become heavier as the result of such selfishness. Galatians 6:8 has some harsh words to say about such selfishness, “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (NIV) There is nothing more selfish than our flesh.

So be aware of your surroundings, not only to protect yourself from surprise attacks, but to protect others and to surprise them with a blessing of love, a blessing of hope and the greatest example of all, if need be, to give your own life for the good of a stranger.

Liberalism: A Cancer of Morality and the Inspiration of Hypocrisy

Liberals offended over moral issues, is like puertorricans offended over eating rice and beans and like a cowboy offended over riding a horse. Liberals offended over moral issues is like an Italian offended over eating pasta or a Mexican over eating burritos; like a white man from the countryside of the United States, offended over his guns and his Bible. Liberals offended over moral issues is like a Snoop Doggie Dog offended over profanity and the use of the “N’ word, like Beyoncé offended over black women publicly showing their butts and tits.

Liberals are the cancer of morality, the inspiration of hypocrisy and an evil ideology that was on the wrong side of history, specifically, concerning the atrocity of slavery and the civil rights’ fight. Liberalism is the mother of socialism. Liberalism is disgusted by Godliness; but embraces everything else outside of Christ. The same liberals that passionately promote same sex marriage here in America, seems to be silent against the brutality of the homosexual communities under the Islamic faith. They twist and turn the truth, even God’s truth, to advance their agenda.

Liberals would protect a monkey in Africa, an alligator in Florida and a bear in Alaska, but can care less about a baby in the womb of his mother. No, I am not talking about a democrat; I am talking about liberals. Liberalism is bad in the Democratic Party, is bad in the Republican Party and is bad in any party. Liberalism is bad in every continent of the world, is bad in the family, is bad in the church, the workplace and in schools. Liberalism  is so bad, so terrible and so unrealiable that it can’t even be trusted in our bathrooms.

On November 8, 2016

Make no mistake about this. On November 8th some will speak loud and clear as they vote for Hillary. Others will speak as loud and give their vote to Trump. Some will speak even louder and refuse to vote, out of personal conviction or old-fashioned tiredness.

Some Blacks and Latinos will stay home and communicate to the Democratic Party that they are tired of only being remembered every four years. They will communicate that they are no longer satisfied with simply being given fish from government programs. They will communicate that they prefer to get their own fish and not stop there; they plan to eventually own the lake.

Some conservatives will also stay home as they have felt not only the expected rejection and mockery of the left, but also the rejection and mockery of their own party. There absence will speak volumes.

Some Christians will also stay home and communicate very passionately that earning their vote will require more than quoting 2 Corinthians 3:17.

I heard a 10-year-old prophecy report that Hillary would give her life to the Lord and be used by God mightily. I have heard others stating that Trump is a baby Christian. I surely hope for the salvation of these two; but my Bible tells me that we shall know them by their fruit. (Matt 7:16-20)

In the end, God will give America a new leader. At that time, we will see if that new leader will be an instrument of God’s blessing over this nation or a weapon of His judgment. No matter what minorities, Liberals, Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, the white majority or even Christians do or do not do, we are about to see God’s will for this nation in a matter of days. (Rom 13:1)

This nation has turned her heart against God. The leaders that we have running now are a reflection of our value system and of us as a nation. If God is judging this nation, like he did with Israel many times, I pray that this nation finds her way back to God and cries out to Him like never before in our history. If God releases an instrument of blessing in the white house it is only because by His love and by His mercy as He prepares the church for a harvest of souls. Either way let not your heart be trouble (John 14:1)

The Challenges of Parenting this Selfie Generation

In today’s world, perhaps more than in any other time in history, it is a greater challenge to be a parent. This is the most rebellious generation ever! I have seen children who don’t know yet how to properly sanitize their derriere, disrespect their parent publicly with no consequences or fear of any.

Now, let’s face it, we can’t control our children’s hearts, their wants and what moves them to passion. We can’t make them want to do this or that with the right attitude. We can’t control what they will embrace as truth the moment they move out of our homes or even while they are in our homes. In the Bible, we see examples of Godly men whose children turned against them and against God Himself.

So what do we have control over? We have control over what we allow and don’t allow in our homes; we have control over consequences for those sons and daughter who decide to rebel against what we have established. We have control over declaring and carrying out that we will serve the Lord and the Lord only. For those adult kids who feel that because they are 18 they can do whatever they want and come and go as they please, we have the divine authority to usher them out of our homes and into reality, to a place they can call their own.

For those 17 and under kids who act as if they know everything and as if we, as parent, must bow down to their fabulousness, to start, 1) we can take away their access to the internet. They can go to the Library for Homework, 2) we can exchange their smart phones for dumb phone from Wal-Mart. I am talking about a phone where the only thing they can do is talk with a limit of 50 minutes a month; after that your phone goes dead automatically. 3) While we are added, they can close every social media they are a part of. If they can live without selfies, we can buy them one of those old fashion Kodak cameras that give you your photo instantly; remember? All you have to do is blow on the photo a few times and boom there is your selfie!  And just because we love them so much, we can buy them an album where they can organize all of their selfies like we used to do back in the day. Oh, if they miss texting and communicating with their social media friends, we can throw in some pens, paper, envelops and stamps so they can write some letters and, we can encourage them to send them their best selfies photos that they took with the Kodak camera.

In all seriousness, our job is to teach our kids the commands of Jesus and how to abide in them. Our job is to give them life lessons so when they get old, when we are no longer around, they can remember what we tried to teach them. They have the choice to be wise and enjoy the benefits of a Godly life or the wages of a lifestyle of sin.

Abortion: Statistics for your Butt and Theology

To end the life of an unborn child is murder before the eyes of God; this is beyond politics; this is a biblical truth.

First, let me give you some statistics. On reasons for abortion: 56% say it is not the right time for a baby, or a baby would interfere with future opportunities. 40% say they cannot afford to have a child. 31% say they do not want to be a single parent, or have relationship problems with husband or partner.[1] Less than 2% say they became pregnant as a result of rape or incest.[2]

Abortion is not widely accepted in the United States, as the media would have us believe:

  • 81%do not support the current abortion-on-demand policy, saying abortion should be restricted to, at most, the first three months of pregnancy.
  • 68%oppose taxpayer funding of abortion.
  • 61%support laws that would ban abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy, except to save the life of the mother.
  • 51%believe health care providers and organizations should have the right to opt out of providing abortion services if they have moral objections.[3]

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “The Negro  cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives  of his children for comfort and safety.”[4]

So lets talk about some more statistics for a minute. African Americans and Hispanics combine, make up about 28.9% of the population in the United States. However, when it comes down to abortion, we account for over 60% of the abortions in the US every year. We, blacks and Latinos, are the poorest, we are shooting each other and we are killing our own babies. [5] Hey, but no worries, we can dance better, we can run faster, we can jump higher and we can party harder! Right!

The candidate that the majority of our people will support, Hilary Clinton, tells us that the unborn has no constitutional rights. So one minute before that baby is due to be born, Hillary, your candidate, says it is ok to kill him or her. I submit to you that the reason she gets away with saying such atrocity is because the majority of women aborting their babies are blacks.

To this statistics lets add the fact that the United States is second to China in abortions per year. Take into consideration that China has a population of 1.37 billion people, compare to our 318.86 million. Here is the list per nation, according to Life News, (

Abortions Annually
China 9,173,100
United States 1,213,000
Russian Federation 1,208,700
International PP Federation 977,189
India 641,800
Vietnam 332,200
PP USA 327,653
Japan 242,300
France 198,200
England and Wales 189,800
Turkey 177,100
Azerbaijan 159,700

The issue of abortion, theological speaking, is not a complicated one. One verse settles the whole matter, Jeremiah 1:5 tells us,

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified you;

I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (NKJV)

Before we were form in the womb of our mothers God already knew us and already set us apart with a purpose. Abortion stands completely against that. If you, as a Christian, decide not to vote, that is your right and I respect you. By not voting you are actually making a statement. However, this article is directed to those who, calling themselves Christians, support this demonic agenda of abortion.

You may say, “well Angel, there are other issues.” You are correct, there are many other issues we can talk about; however the unborn cannot defend his/herself; they do not have a voice! We better speak up, speak out and act out if necessary; for the Lord will held this nation and the nations of the world accountable for these crimes!

The War Against Knowledge in the Body of Christ

There is a war against knowledge in the Body of Christ. If you dare to throw a little Greek or Hebrew definition; if you dare to talk about context, exegesis, sound doctrine, good theology and, if you dare to request a chapter and a verse to backup some of the outrageous post you see in social media today, you are immediately accused of having a religious spirit or being legalistic.

Let me start by addressing this teaching of knowing Jesus beyond knowledge. That one blew my mind! When I requested a Scripture I was given Ephesians 3:19, “to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (NKJV) The word knowledge here is the word, gnṓsis; basically meaning to know.[1] This is basically what we know as head knowledge. This is not hard to understand.

Many people do have head knowledge about God, but they do not know God personally. Some people that are not saved know Scripture, but without the Spirit behind it. That is why the letter kills, but he Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:6). This is not a divorce between the Spirit of God and the Word of God, this is simply pointing out the dangers of head knowledge without the relationship with God. So Paul is encouraging the people to know God beyond knowledge (head knowledge) and to know God personally. Knowing everything about God to the point of knowing Him beyond knowledge is an impossibility. I will prove this point later, if the Scripture is your final authority. If the Scripture is not, I am sure you will find another reason to argue.

The idea that there is an exclusive people in the body of Christ that know Jesus beyond knowledge is pretty arrogant; it is actually very secret-society-like; the idea that I know something you don’t know. If you are a Born Again Christian, you know God beyond head knowledge… period!

We also must remember that during the times of the original apostles there was an assault from within the church manifesting through Gnosticism. This is the basic idea that God the Father is evil and that salvation is not achieved through Jesus, but through knowledge. The Apostle Paul was very accurate in challenging this view and teaching the need to go beyond simply head knowledge.

Were the apostles anti-knowledge? No! The Apostle Peter encourages us in 2 Peter 3:18 to “…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ…” (KJV) The word knowledge here is the same Greek word Gnosis. The bottom line is that in loving God above all things we are also encourage to love him with all of our minds. (Mark 12:30) God is clearly not promoting ignorance and stupidity.

No doubts that love is at the center of our Christian walk, but God also wants us to know what we are talking about. That is why he tells us to study and to rightly divide the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) The word study in 2 Timothy 2:15 is the word, spoudázō; meaning “Earnestness, diligence. To be diligent, earnest, or eager.[2] This is how we should approach God’s Word. Taking God’s Word lightly is not biblical. Now, there is a verse that brings love and knowledge together nicely.

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11New King James Version (NKJV)

The word knowledge is the Greek word epígnōsis. This is a very interesting and profound word.

“To recognize. It is more intens. than gnṓsis (1108), knowledge,   because it expresses a   more thorough participation in the acquiring of knowledge on the part of the learner. In the NT, it often refers to knowledge which very powerfully influences the form of religious life, a knowledge laying claim to personal involvement. When used as an obj. (Eph. 1:17; 4:13; Col. 1:9,      10; 2:2; 1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Tim. 2:25; 3:7; Titus 1:1; Heb. 10:26; 2 Pet. 1:2, 3), it shows the relationship of the learner to the object of his knowledge (2 Pet. 1:8). It increases spiritual  blessings upon the believer (Eph. 1:17; 2 Pet. 1:2, 3) and determines the manifestations of the religious life (2 Pet. 2:20). When used without an obj. in a formal sense (Rom. 1:28; Col.   3:10), it gives a more precise definition as a knowledge which is self–determined or self–regulated, so that the difference mentioned in Col. 3:10 disappears. In Col. 2:2, meaning the discernment which comes in connection with possessing salvation which helps in determining the moral conduct (see    Phil. 1:9 which refers to the knowledge which enables one to avoid error [cf. Rom. 10:2; 11:33; 2 Pet. 1:5]).”[3]

This is an amazing definition and is loaded with many Bible verses to expand and explain. I recommend that you look at these verses so you truly grab the awesome meaning of this word. I want to point out a few verses here starting with Romans 10:2-3,

“For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” (KJV)

The word knowledge here is the word epígnōsis. These verses are clearly describing many of my brothers and sisters in social media today; they do have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge; furthermore, they have declare war on knowledge. They are divorcing the Spirit of God from the Word of God; the are divorcing the anointing of God from the Study of God’s Word and Jesus from the Word.

Regarding this false teaching that people can know Jesus beyond knowledge in the sense of actually knowing Him, I give you Romans 11:33-36,

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” (KJV)

Please folks, do not make God so small, do not water down the Gospel, do not take away from the magnitude of the sacrifice of Jesus, stop declaring war on knowledge and study before you COME UP with more ridiculous and shameful doctrines. Respect Jesus, honor HIM and stay in HIS LOGOS; in fact that is the evidence of your discipleship.

“…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;” John 8:31 (KJV)
